Hey there! Who am I, you ask? My name is Amy Elizabeth and I am your typical Aries: Quick to make decisions and then sometimes have to find ways to justify to myself why I made that decision. I also love to start projects or launch ideas but then need a lot of motivation to finish, and I have the uncanny ability to never hold grudges. While I can be a bit fiery at times (a well-known Arian characteristic), because I was born on the cusp of Aries and Taurus, I am a bit more on the stubborn side and not as easily angered or as impatient as many of my fellow Arians. Life as an Aries is lots of fun because we never like to be bored, cooped up, or doing the same routine day after day. While we love adventure, experiencing life, and we will try almost anything once – others around us are not always amused by our antics and zest for life. (I also tend to fall on the side of asking for forgiveness rather than permission). While family and friends may not be super thrilled with my “fly by the set of my pants” attitude, it does keep me amused and I just remind them that everything is “an experience” (that keeps me out of trouble most of the time!).

One thing of note is my passion for health and fitness. As a physical therapist and registered nurse, finding ways to build healthy habits is important to me. I like to stay active and TRY to eat healthy (but I do turn into a mad baker sometimes!). My current activities include mountain biking, trail running, conquering 14nrs and outdoor fitness classes. In the past I competed in triathlons, downhill and XC mountain biking, as well as rode motocross bikes at the local track and trails. I am an adrenaline junky although I think I am getting a bit old for some activities. Over time I hope to take you on some of my adventures as well as tell you about things I learned (probably the hard way). I LOVE sweets as well as eating out and so look for recipes and places to check out as I find them. Adventure awaits!
